The app

Marginal is offered by Neurolance LLC. You can use the calendar without an account. These terms cover the app and this website.

The iOS app is also licensed under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where that agreement and these terms both speak to an iOS subscription, Apple’s terms control the parts Apple requires.

Subscriptions

Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, sold by Apple or Google. A one-time purchase may also be offered. Its price is whatever the store shows, and that price can change. The currency and any tax are part of what the store shows before you confirm.

A monthly or yearly plan can include a 7-day free trial. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the store charges the subscription and it renews for the same length of time. The store may charge the renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. The price of a renewal is the price the store lists at that time.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or your Google account. Marginal does not bill you, and there is no Marginal account to cancel.

Cancellation

Cancel in the store that billed you. On iPhone, that is Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. On Android, it is Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. A period you already paid for runs to its end.

Refunds

Refunds go through Apple or Google, under their policies. We can’t issue the refund ourselves, because we never took the payment.

The assistant

Describe returns proposals. Nothing is added, changed, or deleted on the calendar until you agree. The output can be wrong. You check it. It is not a substitute for reading the day yourself, and an alarm is not a promise that the phone will ring: that depends on the profile you picked, the permissions you granted, and, on Android, the phone maker’s battery limits.

Acceptable use

Don’t abuse the assistant allowance, or try to use the proxy as an open API. We may refuse requests that fail the app check or pass a limit.

The website

The pages here describe the app. Store badges stay unlabeled as links until a listing exists. Prices on the pricing page are the opening plan, and the store price governs a purchase.

Changes

If these terms change, the date above changes with them. A subscription you already bought keeps the terms the store showed you for that purchase.
